Purchasing & Warehouse Supervisor
As the Purchasing and Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and warehouse management. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement, inventory management, and warehouse operations to meet our company's goals and objectives.
Your primary duties will include:
- Purchase equipment and track shipments.
- Receive shipments and verify the count and condition of items.
- Log all received equipment and tracks outstanding orders.
- Organize all equipment by project in storage room(s).
- Notify proper personnel upon receipt of shipments.
- Load boxes into vehicles.
- Perform monthly inventory audits of stock items.
- Contact vendors to initiate RMA process for defective equipment and track all returns to completion.
- Track shared tools.
- Audit work hours logged by field personnel.
- Assist with classification of invoices/expenses.
Here are the requirements for this position:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent math and analytical skills.
- Must have ability to work with little supervision.
- 2 + years of experience in inventory control & management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a strong technical background.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Driver's license with personal transportation a PLUS.
