The Domestic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with domestic suppliers and manufacturers. This role includes developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring a steady supply of high-quality components and materials for our products. The role also involves managing overseas relationships, specifically in China, to coordinate the supply of imported goods. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and an in-depth understanding of the electric rideables or consumer electronics market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and select domestic suppliers for components and materials used in Hover-1 electric rideables.

- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities, quality standards, and pricing.

- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.

- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.

- Collaborate with the product development and quality assurance teams to ensure that sourced components meet technical and quality requirements.

- Manage supplier relationships, including overseas relationships in China, and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or other concerns.

- Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments to inform sourcing strategies.

- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.

- Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing and supply chain management, preferably in the electric rideables or consumer electronics industry.

- Strong understanding of sourcing and procurement processes, including contract negotiation and supplier evaluation.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of domestic and international sourcing regulations and industry best practices.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with sourcing software or ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Must speak Mandorin

- Minimum 3 years experience in consumer electronics

- Experience working with suppliers in the electric rideables or consumer electronics industry.

- Familiarity with international trade, import/export regulations, and managing overseas relationships
