Job Summary

ECC is seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Manager / Construction Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and repair of Department of Defense (DoD) Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) facilities. This role requires extensive travel, up to 90% of the time, to project sites both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with project teams, Health and Safety Officers, and Quality Control Officers to prioritize tasks and ensure compliance with health and safety and quality control requirements.
  • Attend in-briefs and out-briefs, and act as a key implementer of field activities and tasks preparatory to field activities.
  • Assist in identifying and performing general labor tasks to achieve project objectives under the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Contribute methods of approach and identify solutions to logistical or operational challenges and general field operations.
  • Assist in identifying task-specific equipment to achieve the objectives of a task, and operate equipment as needed.
  • Assume the role of team lead to assist the quality control officer and health and safety officer in maintaining compliance with project work plans, standard operating procedures, and sound field practices while achieving project objectives.
  • Coordinate with the team to prioritize field activities and identify task assignments.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to implement programs to address complex needs and problems.
  • Ability to coordinate with staff on various task assignments and field activities.
  • Knowledge of federal contracting regulations and requirements.
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience on environmental or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of scheduling and budgeting for large construction projects.
  • DoD POL Fuels construction superintendent experience.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel up to 90% of the time domestically and internationally.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Construction Management, or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • More than two years experience with DoD POL Fuels construction projects.
Compensation and Benefits

ECC offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $150,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with deferral matching.
