Job DescriptionJob Description

The successful QC Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the adherence of all orders (PreFab and Tools) to Prism’s QC policies & procedures and Safety policies and procedures. The primary focus will be on accuracy based on the order and compliance with national & local code requirements as well as being performed in a safe manner. This individual will conduct comprehensive checks from the initial order, through packaging, actively identifying and addressing issues. Moreover, they will contribute to training initiatives for continuous improvement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with superintendents, supervisors, and team members to plan and ensure the accuracy of orders.
  • Engage with assembly techs to discuss work procedures, address complaints, and resolve production and safety problems.
  • Conduct quality and compliance inspections throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Record and organize all necessary documentation to document the implementation, maintenance, and effectiveness of the QC program.
  • Complete all QAQC and Safety documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor supplies and materials received and used in project completion.
  • Develop and enhance QAQC procedures with safety at the forefront, work instructions, and logs continually.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with the field team, BIM team, and both the PreFab and Tools teams to facilitate activities.
  • Coordinate work assignment preparation and completion with other team members.
  • Investigate potentially serious situations and propose corrective measures.
  • Interpret and explain orders to assembly techs and get clarification from field teams when needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated skills in people management, process management, and performance management.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical installation requirements and NEC (National Electrical Code).
  • In-depth knowledge of safe work practices in a production environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • 4-5 years' experience in the electrical field.
