Job Purpose:

We are seeking a strong financial leader who can partner with, and quickly become a trusted business advisor to the Business Unit Executive. This pivotal role will oversee our financial operations, providing strategic leadership to the accounting department and ensuring the integrity of our financial processes. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in finance management, ready to guide our organization toward sustainable growth and profitability. Duties:

- Oversee the finance and accounting departments, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate financial reporting, with an emphasis on the specific financial dynamics of the semiconductor industry.

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term business goals.

- Monitor the organization's financial budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, industry regulations, internal controls, and contractual agreements, with a keen awareness of the regulatory challenges and contract compliance specifics to the semiconductor industry.

- Monitor preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and reports required by regulatory agencies.

- Monitor the financial performance of the company, identifying trends, and addressing discrepancies or areas of concern.

- Analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations to the Business Unit Executive and other key stakeholders.

- Monitor the audit process with external auditors, ensuring all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and audit requirements are met.

- Provide leadership, direction, and management to finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

- Evaluate and optimize accounting and financial systems, processes, and software to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.

- Mentor and develop the finance and accounting team, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.

- Analyze and negotiate financing and investment opportunities to support the company's growth and success.

Skills/Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred

- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is a plus

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role within a mid to large-sized organization, preferably in the semiconductor or defense industries

- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting principles, and financial reporting

- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards and regulations

- Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting

- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing finance and accounting teams, with the capacity to instill best practices relevant to the semiconductor industry's fast-paced environment

- Proficiency with finance software and advanced Excel skills; experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems is a plus

- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders

- Executive experience providing leadership across functional groups such as business development, engineering, human resources and operations

- Experience with corporate governance, risk management, and compliance (including SOX)

- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work

- Willingness to continuously improve and keep up with industry trends and best practices
