Job Description: As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout our manufacturing processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving excellence across all aspects of our quality management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO standards, IATF requirements, and customer-specific quality standards.
  2. Lead and manage all aspects of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities, including submission, approval, and maintenance of documentation.
  3. Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate and manage external audits conducted by customers and certification bodies.
  4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and drive root cause analysis to resolve quality concerns in a timely manner.
  5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
  6. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  7. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the quality awareness and skills of employees across all levels of the organization.
  8. Monitor key quality performance metrics, analyze trends, and develop action plans to achieve and exceed quality targets and objectives.
  9. Drive cost-saving initiatives through waste reduction, process optimization, and efficiency improvements while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in automotive quality management to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality role within the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of PPAP, APQP, IATF auditing, and ISO standards.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
