Job Summary:

Diodes Incorporated is seeking an experienced Human Resource Representative to assist with specialized value-add tasks including reviewing job applications from prospective employees, managing and overseeing records, generating reports and promoting wellness initiatives.  

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
  • Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.
  • Reviews applications for entry-level and non-exempt positions; conducts and/or schedules preliminary interviews.
  • Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to personnel changes, which may include performance improvement plans, extended leaves of absence and terminations.
  • Assists with the administration of employee benefits, which may include collecting and submitting employee information and notice of change in status to health, dental, life, disability, and other insurance carriers or insurance brokers. 
  • Plans and supports company-wide information meetings such as new hire orientation, open enrollment, and meetings to announce or discuss changes in retirement or benefits plans and roll out wellness initiatives.
  • Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, and other compliance reviews.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of five years human resources experience required.  Working knowledge of CA employment regulations highly preferred.
  • ADP WFN proficiency in all modules to include Recruitment, Employment Profile, Performance, Benefits and Time and Attendance.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include intermediate Excel (v-look up, pivot tables, etc).
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest level of discretion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working within the Semiconductor industry or the like is preferred but not required.
