AMHS Staffing Alliance is looking for a Recruiter who will develop a pipeline of Travel Technologists & RNs for the four hospitals within the Albany Med Health System - Albany Medical Center, Columbia Memorial Health, Glens Falls Hospital, and Saratoga Hospital.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

The Recruiter will be responsible for recruitment and sourcing temporary health professionals. In addition, the Recruiter will help manage the applicant tracking and scheduling system, create and launch recruitment marketing campaigns with recruitment marketing partner to develop a talent pool of qualified health professionals, and act as the point of contact for travelers on assignment that require support to ensure Staffing Alliance professionals have a positive work experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for full cycle recruitment for healthcare positions including screening resumes, scheduling and conducting phone screens, etc.
  • Evaluates, interviews, and presents qualified candidates to the hiring managers at Albany Med Health System.
  • Proactively seeks out qualified candidates across multiple job boards.
  • Managing contract creation & distribution to both candidates and hospital managers.
  • Assist in answering phone calls, serving as main point of contact for Recruiting and providing initial information to interested candidates.
  • Keeps track of recruiting metrics within the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Actively collaborate with HR to ensure that all new hire healthcare professionals are cleared to start in a timely manner, entered, and tracked in accordance with Facility and AMHS policies and governmental regulations.
  • Participates in all hiring events, including but not limited to virtual and social media broadcasts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to prioritize, plan, and complete work activities in an efficient, timely manner. Must be self-directed and motivated.
  • Works with minimal supervision and exercises common sense and strong independent judgment to problem-solve with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
  • Consistently works with integrity to develop strong trusting relationships and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Possesses a proactive approach to accomplishing work, has immaculate follow up, and demonstrates the flexibility to meet business needs with a focus on achieving results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a bias toward candidate care.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
  • GSA - Stipend knowledge preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in: Business Administration, Human Resources, Nursing or equivalent.
  • In leu of a bachelor’s degree; Associate degree with two plus years of full cycle recruiting experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Talent Acquisition and or Human Resources
  • Prior work in a healthcare staffing agency or healthcare industry experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY: Minimal physical effort: including walking, standing, bending, and light lifting daily. Constant computer-related work such as typing, looking at computer screens, etc.

2. WORKING CONDITIONS: Office environment; ventilated, lighted and with regulated temperature. Multiple interruptions and/or distractions from telephone, co-workers, and other staff.
