We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Sales Engineer to join our team in Fremont, CA. As an Account Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our sales team and customers. You will play a critical role in driving sales by understanding customer needs, demonstrating product capabilities, and providing technical solutions. This position offers a Hybrid schedule after 90 days of employment, with 3 days on site and 2 days Remote. This position requires traveling responsibilities of 10-25%. This position qualifies for Mileage reimbursement, when using Personal vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and identify opportunities.
  • Collect customer requirements, prepare the project proposal, and present it to the engineering team.
  • Interface with internal teams and address the customer’s requirements understandably.
  • Work with applications and designers to develop the best solutions for customers.
  • Overlook opportunities and projects from the start to the successful end.
  • Ability to manage multiple customers simultaneously.
  • Understand the importance of the project or tasks and prioritize them accordingly.
  • The first point of contact for customers’ technical and support requests and escalations.
  • Requests and collects customer forecasts and documents them internally for Sales, Manufacturing, and Planning needs.
  • Post sales support and assistance with Nidec Genmark product integration within customers’ working environment.
  • Entering, tracking, and reporting data on sales activity.

Skills:

  • Strong technical background with experience in technical sales or pre-sales engineering
  • Understanding of the mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Must know how to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols
  • Proficiency in Python programming language for scripting and automation
  • Familiarity with Robotics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
