Job DescriptionJob Description

The Leslie Company is currently seeking ​an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and distribute invoices to customer accurately and timely.
  • Address customer in queries and provide support regarding billing and payment questions.
  • Process, reconcile and document credit memos for customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate with customer to request prepayment and/or past due payment.
  • Collect payment, of various methods, and accurately records into database.
  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
  • Check the accuracy of business transactions
  • Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards.
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in billing, accounting, finance, or other related fields.
  • Proven customer service skills with strong analytical and detail-oriented capabilities.
  • Knowledge of standard accounting procedures.
  • Regular, predictable and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Strong organizational skills.
