About The Position
The following items are crucial in order to succeed in this role: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, or Communications
  • Excellent writing, spelling editing capability
  • Proven experience in Marketing or Communications
  • Experience working with an Architect, Engineer, or Construction firm strongly preferred
  • Ability to command a meeting with cross-disciplinary teams and tenured executives
  • Relationship-focus: Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach
  • Divide and conquer, “no job is too big or too small” mentality
  • Proficiency in InDesign, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Visual communication and layout skills
  • Strong project management ability, including coordination with internal clients and results-orientation with attention to detail 

Primary Functions & Essential Responsibilities

  • Writing/Editing company documents
  • Managing the proposal production process: writing and editing content, proposal layout and graphics, as well as ensuring quality control through proactive communication and coordination of the proposal lifecycle
  • Proposal layout using InDesign, in consult with marketing specialist for brand continuity
  • Leading pursuit kick-off meetings, establishing content assignments and deadlines and synthesizing content from multiple contributors
  • Providing document management for project on-boarding
  • Translating complex concepts into compelling marketing materials
  • Creating print and digital marketing collateral, including but not limited to new business proposals, brochures, and content for the website and social media
  • Attending marketing events representing the company online and in person
  • Support the Sales team with cross-functional campaigns, customer outreach, research, etc

Salary & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $35.30 - $47.07
