Job Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, staff supervision, and process optimization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in warehouse management. As a 1099 contractor, the position offers a pay rate of $30 per hour. There is potential for full-time hire after a 90-day performance review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory levels and implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies and safety standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure the warehouse operates in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and materials.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and inventory levels.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the warehouse budget, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation.
  • Technology Utilization: Implement and utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies to streamline operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field preferred, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Compensation:

  • Pay Rate: $30 per hour (1099 Contractor)
