FIELD SERVICE COORDINATOR
The Service Coordinator position is reports directly to the National Service Manager and works out of our US headquarters in Rolling Meadows, IL. The full-time Service Coordinator position is an exempt position with limited travel requirements.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and support field service team to provide optimum and timely customer service.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance, installations, and emergency calls while prioritizing the daily workload.
  • Dispatch Danobat personnel to the customer’s job site.
  • Monitor timecards and maintain fair workloads while factoring in holidays and emergencies.
  • Monitor and assist the service administrator with invoice management, new orders processing, and inventory.
  • Communicate with clients to understand the scope of field service projects.
  • Participate in kick-off meetings and assume the role of off-site manager for installations.
  • Prepare and deliver estimates to customers for field service.
  • Track and document change orders to ensure proper billing at project completion.
  • Upload and share reports with customers and prepare follow-up quotations.
  • Manage procurement process and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Receive requests for additional materials and determine proper action with purchasing.
  • Ensure all safety requirements are adhered to.
  • Uphold Danobat’s quality standards within the field service organization.
  • Ensure written reporting procedures for all field service calls/work are accurate and performed.
  • Review all customer billings for accuracy.
  • Maintain organization and maintenance of field service equipment.
  • Review quotes versus work completed to finalize billing package for accounting.
  • Other tasks as needed.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate possesses a grinding maintenance/service background. However, we will consider a person with
other CNC machine tool experience. To be successful in this position, the candidate should have:

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience as a service coordinator for CNC machine tool products.
  • Strong multitasking skills.
  • Formal education/training in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing CNC machine tool products.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, and repair experience.
  • Siemens (and Fanuc) control experience is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated application and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional conduct when dealing with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to use PC and job-related software for programming, documentation/record keeping.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Experience and ability to work in an international team environment.
  • Availability to travel within the US and occasionally internationally.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport.
