Low Voltage Foreman

The Healthcare Foreman is responsible for the management of the team performing the onsite installation of nurse call, security and fire life safety systems within Healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for keeping the project moving toward completion and ensuring quality work is performed. The Healthcare Foreman is required to be a master of many different roles on the project site. You will be the main point of contact between the Project Manager, third-party contractors, and the customer regarding project timelines and expectations. Responsibilities include project installation, identification of teams’ activities and goals, handling all personnel issues, safety coordination, technician training and project reporting.
Essential Functions:
- Possess knowledge of security, nurse call and fire life safety systems, including but not limited to EST3, Lenel, and Ascom
- Manage on-site field crews to ensure the successful installation of project components
- Participate in and manage the final inspection with the customer and/or Authorities Having Jurisdiction to ensure project was completed up to code and according to the client contract
- Ensure all project documentation is complete, the project workplan reflects accurate status of work and a resolution is entered into the appropriate project ticket
- Adhere to all workplace safety expectations, regulations, standards and practices
- Program and troubleshoot fire life safety, security and nurse call systems
- Train technicians on industry principals and standards as well as ensure the team understands all products installed within their division
- Punctuality and regular attendance
Position Requirements:
- 8+ years in construction and/or low voltage installation
- 5+ years installing low voltage in the Healthcare environment
- 4+ years in a leadership role, high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
- Must be able to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).
- Must be able to get required immunizations/vaccinations to comply with client requirements.
