Work model:

  • On-Site

What you will do:

  • Oversee Prior Authorizations for the facilities and ensure timely communication
  • Responsible for coding to include daily monitoring, coding accuracy, interpretation of medical coverage, as well as training and process improvement
  • Billing oversight, including coordinating all billing functions, ensuring workflow efficiencies, management of claims and denials
  • Manage Accounts Receivable
  • Oversee collections and financial counseling areas, and develop monthly goals
  • Work with clearinghouse and finance departments to ensure processes are functioning as expected
  • Calculate and monitor overall cash collections
  • Work closely with leaders to make necessary recommendations related to reimbursement and contractual issues
  • Provide staff training and support as needed

What you will need to be successful:

  • Associate degree in business or related field, equivalent years of experience also considered
  • Ambulatory surgery center and or health care facility billing experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience within the medical billing and insurance industry
  • Proven leadership or supervisory abilities
  • Accounts receivable experience within the health-related field is preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in the operation of computer and spreadsheet software
