Curious about what your daily responsibilities as a Revenue Cycle Representative might entail? You will:
- Handle tasks related to posting both manual and electronic payments, as well as processing denials within the accounts receivable system.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the payment posting process, including the ability to manage resubmissions, reposting, and data transfers.
- Receive and process requests for patient medical records on behalf of the clinic.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the disclosure log regarding what records were sent, to whom, and when.
- Sort and electronically transfer data into patient electronic medical records.
- Scan physical medical records and convert them into electronic formats.
- You possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a medical office administrative role and familiarity with various insurance programs is preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic health records, medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT codes is essential.
