We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and oversee construction projects from beginning to end.
As a Project Manager, you will be working along side with staff, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and clients as needed. Some clients may consist of developers in Manhattan, such as, Toll Brothers, UAG, Cauldwell Wingate, Suffolk Construction., that expect a very high quality product.
As a Project Manager at G&M Works LLC, you will perform such duties as are customarily performed by a Project Manager, including, but not limited to:
• Coordination and managing on-site construction and landscape daily operations.
• Collaborate with Subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team
• Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities as needed.
• Ensure quality standards are met
• Review and/or create project scopes, specifications and contracts
• Planning of logistics and ensure equipment and materials are available as needed
• Work with management team and office staff to place orders for materials and equipment
• Ensure adherence to project timeline and deadlines
• Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, protocols, cleanliness, and orderliness.
• Create, acquire and maintain records to include but not limited to field reports, daily/weekly progress photos, change orders, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, contracts, etc.
• Review and become versed in schedule, budget, and logistics and ensure adherence to same
• Meet project deadlines
• Demonstrate ability to read and interpret construction documents to successfully and effectively complete projects
• Demonstrate outstanding problem solving, communication, organization and interpersonal skills
• Troubleshoot, think critically and evaluate risks to achieve positive project outcomes
• Create project budget, estimating and bidding process
• Understand and create material take-offs
• Provide pricing / estimating & sourcing for materials
• Meet regularly with onsite crew and subs to discuss performance issues, scheduling and/or logistics
• Ability and willingness to assist in field operations when needed
