Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented person or persons to join our team for one of many roles in our office: 
  • Materials purchaser, responsible for researching, quoting, purchasing, receiving, documenting, and releasing materials to jobs. This would require strong communication skills, organizational skills, and computer skills. 
  • Scheduler/Expeditor, responsible for reviewing customer requirements, and flowing those requirements to the shop floor machining schedule. Communication with customers and suppliers would be required as well as updating both internal and external commit systems. This would require strong communication skills, organizational skills, and computer skills.
  • Process planner, responsible for writing shop floor traveler and work instructions. Would need to work closely with our programmers and machinists and our quality department to write technical documents that instruct the shop on how to approach part manufacturing. The ability to read drawing and technical specifications is a must. This would require strong communication skills, organizational skills, and computer skills.
  • Estimator, responsible for assessing RFQ’s from our customers, researching requirements of the part, quoting suppliers for materials and other required processes, analyzing any previous history on the part, and putting together a thorough quote package to present to our team and eventually submit to our customer. Can be high paced. The ability to read drawing and technical specifications is a must. This would require strong communication skills, organizational skills, and computer skills.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing or similar position. Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or engineering a plus.
  • Previous experience as a machinist, quality inspector, engineer, or similar position in manufacturing or aerospace. 
  • Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, and ERP like JobBoss. 
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
  • US Citizenship/Permanent Resident Card required due to defense industry requirements.
