A leading manufacturer and designer of innovative surge protection products for the street and roadway lighting industry, based in Manassas, VA, is looking for a qualified sales professional to contribute to the growth of our domestic and international business by developing new business and managing and expanding the business with our existing customers.
Essential Functions:
· Achieve sales objectives by managing and growing existing account relationships
· Identify, pursue and develop new accounts by prospecting and utilizing existing resources
· Providing product information, pricing quotations, and follow-up on quotes
· Provide technical support and training to account base
· Learn and utilize company database including entering detailed contact and project information daily
· Provide monthly sales reports, forecasts, and detailed pipeline reports
Position Requirements:
· 3-5 years sales experience in a related industry
· Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals and achieve sales quotas
· Demonstrated success and discipline in inside sales / telesales
· Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
· Knowledge of the lighting and/or electrical industry or a background in lighting or electrical products would be considered an asset.
