Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAre you an experienced IT professional looking for an exciting opportunity in the field of EDI? iSphere's direct client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their IT EDI team for a 6+ month opportunity in Lexington, KY or the NC area. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and supporting EDI solutions for our global operations. If you have a passion for technology, strong collaboration skills, and a desire to make a significant impact, then this position is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, trading partners, and other IT analysts to gather system and business requirements.
- Coordinate and implement new EDI partners, transactions, communication protocols, and solutions.
- Understand and interpret EDI transactions, ensuring effective mapping of user requirements to technology solutions.
- Support, maintain, and modify existing systems and integrations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot user questions and problems.
- Conduct unit testing with developers and partners to ensure accuracy of logic and program results.
- Coordinate with business users, analysts, and QA for UAT Testing and signoff.
- Ensure compliance with all policies for system changes.

Qualifications:

- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business and trading partners to gather requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
- Proficiency in writing technical design documentation.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
- Preference given to candidates with consumer products and/or project management experience.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of EDI transactions.
- Experience with X12 format. Experience with EDIFACT and XML files is a plus.
- Proficiency in Windows operating system.
- Experience with IT production support, development, and SDLC.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
- Preference given to candidates with B2Bi Sterling application experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a related business field or a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience and knowledge of managing processes to completion.
- Experience and knowledge of working with customers/vendors.
- Experience working with technical teams and developers.
