The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer at Classic Coil is the critical connection between the engineering and business sides of the company. This role is regularly collaborating with manufacturing engineering, production planning, quality control, and sales & marketing. You will collaborate with sales to create customer proposals across a range of products and markets and communicate customer requirements to manufacturing for new or customized products.

· B.S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a strong background in electrical manufacturing engineering.

· Minimum 3 years’ of work experience in the creation and implementation of manufacturing processes used in manufacturing/assembly of electrical components.

· Fundamental knowledge of Power Supplies, Multi-Meters, and Electrical Test Equipment.

· Ability to conduct Root Cause & Corrective Action for failed components and assemblies.

· Ability to read customer product and electrical blueprints.

· Ability to design fixtures and tools to support production assembly and tests.

· Ability to write detailed work instructions and test procedures using Microsoft Office Products. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Excellent Verbal and Written Skills

· Excellent and Timely Communication Skills

· Due to the nature of our customer base and products, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, capable of passing a DOD background check.

· Provide technical support to the Manufacturing Teams, focusing on the development of manufacturing and testing processes for electrical coils and assemblies.

· Working with the Business Development Team to determine new product feasibility, creation of quotes.

· Creating and modifying BOMs & RTGs in the ERP system.

· Evaluate and advise the Manufacturing Teams in their efforts to continuously improve assembly and test processes.

· Support New Process Development.

· Analyze production & field failures and provide Root Cause Corrective Action.

· Provide technical and problem-solving assistance to customers, vendors, and Classic Coil Manufacturing Teams.

· Provide assistance to evaluate and qualify potential suppliers/vendors and develop partnerships with key ones.

· Participate in customer and vendor visits and technical meetings related to projects.

· Prepare reports and make recommendations to Classic Coil management regarding progress on projects.

· Write detailed manufacturing, assembly & test procedures & train production associates.

· Research and develop new production & test equipment.
