Position Overview:

Our client, a prominent manufacturing firm, is seeking a Senior Engineering Executive to oversee their Engineering division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for strategizing, managing, and coordinating the various functions within the Engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement streamlined operations and cost-efficient systems to fulfill the company's current and future objectives.
  • Engage actively in the formulation of corporate strategies, ensuring support for all engineering-related functions.
  • Oversee project management activities pertinent to the Engineering sector.
  • Maintain direct communication with clients.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and report on the department's key performance indicators in relation to established targets.
  • Collaborate with diverse engineering disciplines and operational teams.
  • Formulate both short-term and long-term plans concerning organizational structure, staffing needs, and succession planning.
  • Organize and direct engineering initiatives to support all internal and external business operations.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Over 10 years of relevant technical and leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with Medium Voltage Switchgears in a manufacturing context.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer designation or advanced degrees are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams and managing projects effectively.
