Job Description

As a Supply Chain Coordinator for the Control Systems Engineering department, you will be responsible for procuring and managing materials to support the electrical assembly team. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure accurate kit completion and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Inventory Management
    • Review and ensure that Bills of Materials adhere to company requirements and match engineering and assembly needs.
    • Responsible for the accuracy of kit completion within the electrical assembly department, including procurement to address nonconformances or missing components.
    • Responsible for maintaining the electrical assembly inventory for accuracy and organization.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Generate reports from electrical schematics and engineering provided spreadsheets and other information conveyance.
    • Responsible for maintaining BOM revisions, including material flow to the floor and re-papering kits with updated travelers.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with the Crib and Finance for successful inventory audits.
    • Provide feedback to Controls Engineers and Draftsmen through the redline procedure for issues found on electrical schematics and BOM.
  • Project Material Tracking
    • Coordinate with Procurement and Controls Engineering on issues.
    • Timely disposition of unused or unneeded BOM electrical and pneumatic items from projects and back to inventory.
  • Purchasing and Logistics
    • Purchase CSE equipment as required for projects in support of CSE procurement.
    • Act as interim backup in the absence of the primary CSE procurement person.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical resources to meet project requirements.
    • Work with Engineers, Project Managers, Customers, and Vendors to achieve project goals.
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain inventory levels of standard components and assemblies to support product lines using historical data and knowledge.
    • Maintain usable records of quotes and purchase orders; verify invoice pricing.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Follow AGR ISO9001 procedures.
    • Observe and enforce company policy, safety, and security procedures.
  • Professional Development
    • Demonstrate application of acquired knowledge from Lean training.
    Requirements
    • Proficiency in Epicor.
    • Proficiency with the AGR Procurement processes.
    • Proficiency with SolidWorks Electrical, AUTOCAD Electrical, and the historical database, as required.
    Qualifications
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret electrical schematics, BOMs, and applicable Epicor dashboards.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions applicable to electrical schematics, BOMs, and electrical components.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of issues that arise from incorrect data, prints, and documents released from Controls Engineering.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Travel

On occasion, travel, with reasonable notice, may be expected for this position.

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience in the use and understanding of electrical engineering concepts, philosophies, standards, and layouts utilized by AGR in the design and manufacturing of our automation equipment.
