Cantina 109 is currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team  You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation. Our restaurant has been open for more than 10 years and has a strong menu. Our executive chef has the groundwork laid for a trained sous chef to be able to come in and operate at a high level. SOP, ordering guides, menus, prep lists are all already constructed, it's just up to you to keep the team motivated and focused 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
  • Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Lead and coach the kitchen 
  • Work with FOH to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years kitchen experience 
  • Minimum 1 year in a management role 
  • Passion for food and cooking techniques
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
