We are seeking an Email Marketing Manager for a contract to hire remote role. Compensation depends upon experience level.  5+ years experience in Email Marketing operations with experience in Klavyio highly desired. 

 

We are looking for an experienced email marketing manager who will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing end-to-end email marketing campaigns. This position will help develop and execute email marketing strategies in collaboration with our overall marketing strategies to support brand and campaign goals. You will be hands-on, managing email campaigns and strategies.  This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial and tech-savvy marketing professional to drive business growth in the wine e-commerce industry.

 

Responsibilities:
● Segment target audiences and develop acquisition strategies to grow our email list, including website pop up, sign up forms, and other acquisition techniques
● Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns using a data-driven approach including A/B testing to improve open rates, CTR, and conversions
● Develop and execute segmentation strategies, personalizing content per audience
● Manage and maintain subscriber database for cleanliness and deliverability and implement reengagement initiatives
● Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and SMEs to gather and curate content supporting content strategies
● Must be comfortable writing and editing email content following brand standards. Strong attention to detail is a must
● Analyze and report on campaign performance on a monthly basis while developing ongoing email marketing strategies
● Support other eCommerce and content management efforts as requested

 

Qualifications & Requirements
● Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
● Proven ability to work in high-growth and highly collaborative environments; demonstrated track record with start-ups a plus
● 5+ years of experience in multi-dimensional, integrated marketing experience in a consumer or e-commerce growth company. Experience with various email marketing platforms is a must
● Keen eye for attention to detail, spelling, and grammar, particularly as related to wine. Strong QA process is a must.
● Outstanding project management and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to adapt under evolving circumstances and manage multiple agencies
● Keen understanding of KPIs, including the ROI of automated email marketing activities
● Ability to foster an iterative way of working and learning cross functionally with product and sales functions to continuously improve operational efficiencies
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with remote team members and agencies, working across time zones
● Technology savvy, experience with Klavyio, Hubspot, other MarTech tools is a plus
● Some travel is required (approximately 20%)
