Our company is currently seeking ​a Billing Specialist to join our team You will primarily be responsible for overseeing the billing process by tracking Customer or vendor shipments and completing the required procedures to ensure payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing pick tickets and shipping documents in the system to accurately issue and send the invoice to the costumer in a timely manner
  • Ensure billing documents are scanned and kept in the system
  • Receiving payments and applying them appropriately in the system
  • Review any inconsistency with the Operations, Sales or Purchasing Departments to resolve and process invoices or make payments accurately
  • Adjust Inventory accordingly when the pick ticket reflects no parts or dead items.
  • Bill QA expenses, and process RMA’s (Return Merchandise Authorization)
  • Review the Age Trial Balance Report and perform collection calls/e-mails
  • Assist Bookkeeper with credit card processing and record electronic payments to customer accounts.
  • Monitor Accounts Payable to ensure goods are received and Vendors paid in a timely manner
  • Back up for the receptionist duties on the phone and greeting visitors at front desk

Qualifications:

  • Organization, attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, communication and math skills, GAAP a plus
  • Associate's degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Standard Microsoft products (Outlook and Excel)
