The Financial Operations Accountant plays a vital role in the Finance division, overseeing daily accounting functions, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, and aiding in the monthly financial close and reporting processes for various operational units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across different departments and travel to various locations as needed.
  • Annual Financial Review: Contribute to the annual audit process, including the preparation of financial statements and accompanying notes.
  • Expense Review: Investigate and analyze discrepancies in expenses to provide insights to management.
  • Financial Insights: Conduct thorough accounting and financial analyses to uncover significant trends and support essential estimates, including accruals and reserves.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Engage with various functions to assist in the preparation and presentation of financial outcomes.
  • ERP System Proficiency: Execute accounting tasks utilizing ERP software effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, ideally within a manufacturing context.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
