Jr. Systems Administrator SD – Sentinel

Tope is seeking a Jr. System Service Desk Administrator to support the AF Strategic Program Information Services team in support of the Sentinel Information Services (IS) team. The selected applicant will join am interdisciplinary team providing OS level help desk support. This position will include the following duties and responsibilities:

· Resolves technical problems in a call center/help desk environment.

· Works with internal and external users and organizations to support customer user-level requirements, including resolving end-user support requests, researching and deploying advanced technologies.

· Resolves access requests for user accounts and other desktop support functions.

· Where possible, uses automated tools and scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy.

· Provides technical assistance, training, and system documentation for users to promote efficient operation of applications.

Position requires a current Security+ Certification, fully adjudicated DoD Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance and at least 2+ years’ experience (with a BS degree) or 6+ years’ experience (with a HS diploma) with:

· Windows server operating systems and concepts

· Experience with Active Directory, desktop support, and ticketing systems.

· Experience working in a Service Desk/Help Desk team environment

· Excellent customer service skills

· DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliance -- CompTIA Security+ or other DoD 8570 - IAT Level II certification within 6 weeks of hire date

Other skills desired are:

· System and Application installation, STIG, troubleshooting and tuning

· Standards compliance and information assurance, including ITAR, CCA, FedRAMP, DIACAP, RMF, ITIL, CMMI

· Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence

· Experience supporting a DoD customer.
