Job Summary: The Compliance Coordinator is tasked with supporting various D3G departments by collecting and coordinating property compliance data for real estate due diligence studies from municipalities and various other external authorities. This support role requires working on several projects at one time and aligning with municipalities to ensure updated compliance data. We may consider this for a part-time role, depending on the need. This is a non-exempt, entry level position.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collecting the most recent building code, zoning, environmental health, and fire code compliance information on Multi-family real estate properties for use in FHA insured mortgage loan transactions.
  • Verifying the correct jurisdiction to collect compliance data
  • Submitting public records requests as company representative
  • Coordinating with various municipalities and various other external authorities
  • Gathering zoning verification information from local officials regarding zoning and code compliance related to D3G project properties
  • Ensuring compliance project completion with follow up attempts
  • Communicating with other D3G internal departments to ensure compliance completion
  • Reviewing and analyzing compliance information/documentation for accuracy and completeness upon receipt
  • Maintaining D3G’s Compliance tracker – goal of completion/data collection rates over 90%
  • Regularly update internal system with updates
  • Scanning physical compliance documents to convert into electronic format
  • Train, and mentor staff in support and development of service within this role.


Working Conditions: Standard office environment. Standard office hours of 8am – 5pm; occasional need to work overtime based on project demand.

Qualifications:

  • High-School Degree required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to display strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively work independently, as well as within a team
  • Strong work ethic
