Job Summary:
This role is pivotal in the operational leadership of the restaurant, focusing on driving sales growth, achieving targeted EBITDA, adhering to budget constraints, and fostering a culture of responsibility. The position entails comprehensive management duties including the recruitment, training, mentorship, and leadership of both Managers and Team Members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the restaurant’s performance and local community engagement by enhancing sales, meeting EBITDA goals, adhering to the budget, and instilling a culture of accountability.
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, ensuring excellence in both front of house (FOH) and heart of house (HOH) areas, including compliance with Ecosure standards.
- Fully integrate the CHARM service model with the FOH team to ensure every guest receives exceptional service.
- Effectively communicate and implement company initiatives and strategies to boost sales and profitability.
- Engage in active recruitment, training, and development of Managers and Team Members, fostering consistent communication through daily interactions and weekly meetings.
- Maintain regular one-on-one sessions and follow-ups with Managers and Team Members to ensure continuous development.
- Strengthen the skills of Team Members and the leadership qualities of Managers.
- Develop and execute strategies to retain top-performing Team Members.
- Manage inventory and receiving processes, reporting any issues to the Area Coach (AC).
- Assign daily objectives and tasks, ensuring their completion through diligent follow-up.
- Monitor sales data to optimize scheduling and staffing, formulating strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Comply with all company policies, state and federal wage and hour regulations, and manage restaurant financial responsibilities, including funds, bank deposits, and payroll.
Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High School Diploma or High School equivalency required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Prefer 2 years of hands-on restaurant management experience.
- ServSafe Certified preferred or able to obtain certification within 90-days of employment.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Commitment to excellence in friendly service.
- Proven ability growing sales.
- Ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Able to analyze issues and problem solve.
- Sets clear goals for themselves and their team.
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Foster collaboration and team work within your team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires regular attendance; the ability to work up to 55 hours per week is required; requires the ability to stand or walk for hours at a time; frequently required to hear, speak, walk, crawl, climb, stand, reach, bend, balance, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 50 lbs; requires ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature, and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
