Job Responsibilities:

  • The goals and duties of this position are to execute memorable experiences for each client while upholding JB Agency's exceptional reputation.
  • Communicate in a professional, timely, and effective manner with clients and vendors.
  • Collaborate with the JB Agency team to finalize all logistics of each assigned event for flawless execution.
  • Maintain positive and constructive working relationships with other industry professionals including all venues and vendors.
  • Managing all logistics on-site at each event: setup, timeline execution, and breakdown of events as outlined in each client's contract.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of event coordination experience.
  • The ability to manage events while leading a team in a fast-paced environment, resolve conflict, and manage time effectively based on the final timeline created in the planning process.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Zoom Meetings, and Google Meet.
  • Familiarity with Aisle Planner, Canva, Eventbrite, Prismm, and Merri.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to work non-traditional shifts on weekdays (Wednesdays/Thursdays) for corporate events and weekends (Friday - Sunday) for weddings and other specialty events. Event hours vary from 10-15 hours per shift.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and D.C. as well as other destinations for events.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

 

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage based on experience + mileage compensation
  • Offer competitive commission for any sales performed
