Document Controller (Manufacturing)- Anoka MN

Wage: $21.00-$27.00 DOE

Job Summary: The Document Controller will be responsible for supporting the quality department and all internal departments by maintaining and controlling documents, procedures, quality forms, and product software required to validate and manufacture product.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

 

· Oversee all Document Control and maintenance of the document control system.

· Manage the flow of documentation within the organization.

· Maintain current revision and history of all Device Master Records (DMR).

· Maintain a master copy of product software used to validate or manufacture product.

· Responsible for the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process to ensure quality production per customer specifications.

· Collect and register all technical documents such as drawings, blueprints, and Gerber files.

· Assist and act as a back-up to the receptionist/front desk when needed.

· Actively participates in quality efforts and support the Company Quality Policy through accountable action.

· Responsible for compliance to the Company Quality Management System and other regulatory and statutory requirements as required by the customer.

· Act as an authorized agent to stop production when nonconformances are noted.

· Accountable to accepting responsibility for continuous on the job training by actively participating in training put on by designated Company employees and/or any outside service.

 

Education and Experience

 

· Due to ITAR Restrictions, US Citizenship or green card is required.

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or related work experience.

· 1-2 years of MS Office and MS Excel experience required; manufacturing electronics environment preferred.

 

Required Skills/Abilities

· Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role.

· Experience working with quality management systems, AS9100, ISO:9001, and/or ISO:13485 preferred.

· Experience with reading/understanding technical documents such as drawings, blueprints, and Gerber files.

· Proficient typing and editing skills.
