SUMMARY: The Restaurant Manager is primarily responsible for supervising the restaurant, bar, and cafe team members in the delivery of services. S/He will promote a safe and welcoming working environment, lead and develop our Team Members to design the ultimate guest experience. The Restaurant Manager will also assist in handling necessary administrative functions such as entering invoices, assisting with inventory, and processing payroll. S/He will work with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure maximum efficiency. S/He will report directly to the General Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Accomplishes administrative objectives in support of all business areas.
  • Vista Ticketing Point of Sale Proficiency includes but is not limited to; Ringing up Tickets, comping tickets, swapping tickets, refunding tickets, creating, and refunding memberships, selling special tickets, selling and redeeming paper Marketing and Re-Admit Passes, selling gift cards, redeeming points.
  • Vista Back Office Proficiency includes but is not limited to, auditing a teammates POS Usage, Credit Card Research, Writing Grids and changing status' in Showtimes. Pulling reports on revenue, cash handling, receipts.
  • Assist managers with inventory.
  • Support the Corporate Payroll process, entering the employee working hours, timecard approvals, sick days process, and assist with onboarding new employees.
  • Enter invoices into THE LOT’s software program.
  • Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations.
  • Work as a team, assisting with all Guest and Team Member needs.
  • Supervises the restaurant, bar team members, and café in the delivery of services.
  • Coordinates special restaurant services such as "private dining events".
  • Supports and ensures quality product from kitchen line.
  • Ensures guests receive quality service.
  • Controls the inventories of beverages and assists with food and non-food inventories.
  • Schedules team members according to budget guidelines and need.
  • Hires, trains, develops and disciplines subordinates.
  • Ensures financial procedures are adhered to and resolves all discrepancies.
  • Enforces standards and rules for safety, cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Ensures all team members are supplied with appropriate position uniform and follow the uniform guidelines set forth.
  • Holds team member pre-shift meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Associate is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary work in restaurant, food service or comparable experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in large, complex operation with strong focus on hospitality.
  • Must be detailed oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing daily priorities without constant direction.
  • Track record of success with bias for action, high energy level and desire to succeed.
  • Qualified to execute thorough plans to achieve quality F&B product at the site level while maintaining focus on guest and staff relations, and facilities management.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good listener, patient in stressful situations and genuine desire to resolve issues.
  • Available to work flexible Full-Time hours including weekends, holidays, and special events.
