Job Summary:

The role will maintain, audit, and assist in all phases related to accounting records for the company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing and shipping instructions
  • Entering customer payments
  • Processing Bills
  • Processing credit card payments
  • Reconciling credit card statements
  • Sales tax
  • File close out
  • Credit application preparation and processing
  • Paid leave calculations
  • Payroll
  • Reconcile bank statements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis.
  • Ability to use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
  • Ability to efficiently operate a 10-key calculator or equivalent and other related office equipment.
  • Proficient in NetSuite or similar software.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree with accounting coursework preferred.
  • At least four years of bookkeeping experience required, preferably in the sales or distribution industry.
