Patient Services Coordinator for a Cancer Center

Type: Temp to potential Perm

Schedule: 9:00AM-5:30PM

Role Description

  • Front desk and call center environment.
  • Communicating with patients, clinicians, and location team members to discuss needs and/or concerns over the phone.
  • Managing all aspects of the scheduling process for patients and team members.
  • Maintaining accurate schedules
  • Timely and direct communication with patients regarding schedule changes.
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver results.

Qualifications:

  • Front Desk/Scheduling experience; EPIC needed; at least 2+ years experience in high volume environment
  • Experience in customer service or previous experience in medical setting
  • Superior phone skills; confident and professional when calling people and being accurate with information.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and a high degree of comfort using various technologies and systems.
  • EPIC or EMR experience a plus
