Job Title: Human Resources Representative

Position Overview: As a Human Resources Representative, you will serve as the first line of support for all inquiries from employees and managers regarding HR programs, policies, and procedures. You will handle and coordinate transactions related to the entire employee lifecycle, including pre-boarding, leave of absence, terminations, and status changes. Key responsibilities include managing electronic files, coordinating new hire pre-boarding, administering sign-on bonuses, and providing guidance on HR policies and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for inquiries related to HR processes, policies, and programs.
  • Manage electronic files and coordinate transactions across the employee lifecycle.
  • Support new employee pre-boarding, including conducting orientation and processing paperwork.
  • Provide guidance on multi-state laws, regulatory requirements, and compliance rules.
  • Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Process tuition reimbursement and referral bonus requests.
  • Address employee queries on payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  • Assist in planning and organizing recruitment, retention, and engagement activities.
  • Ensure new hires are familiar with company processes and have completed required training.
  • Support employee surveys by launching surveys, monitoring completion, and analyzing results.
  • Serve as a point person to troubleshoot employee system access issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and software.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
