The Payroll Administrator $$$

45K-55K benefits 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Responsible for timely and efficient processing of payroll.

·        Ensures compliance and maintains current knowledge of applicable federal and state policies.

·        Coordinates with Benefits Specialist to process benefits withholding, payroll deductions, and garnishments.

·        Manage, maintain, and update payroll-related data.

·        Collect and summarize timekeeping information.

·        Oversee and process garnishments.

·        Maintain quarterly reports for record keeping.

·        Process employment verifications.

·        Process and distribute reports for compensation, taxes paid, garnishments, and deductions.

·        Maintaining employee records.

·        Providing administrative assistance to the accounting department.

·        Answering telephone inquiries in a friendly, efficient manner while promoting a positive image.

JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

·        High school diploma or GED

 EXPERIENCE:

·        At least two years’ related experience is preferred. 

·        Experience engaging and communicating with senior-level management.

SKILLS:

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·        Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

·        Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·        Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

·        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

·        QuickBooks experience

·        Attention to detail and confidentiality are a must.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

·        Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·        Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
