Sales Manager – Wellhead Solutions

REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer

LOCATION: Houston, TX

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Manager will lead the sales efforts for our wellhead solutions, driving revenue growth through strategic customer engagement and business development. This role requires a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, particularly wellhead products and services, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a dynamic sales team, building and maintaining customer relationships, and developing effective sales strategies that align with the company’s goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product Expertise: Thoroughly understand the portfolio of wellhead products and services, and effectively communicate the value proposition to customers.
  • Sales Execution: Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Technical & Commercial Proficiency: Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, commercial quotes, and proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about competitor offerings, market trends, and pricing strategies to position the company’s solutions effectively.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Consultative Selling: Engage with potential customers to understand their specific needs, recommending wellhead solutions that best address their challenges.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively resolve customer issues, ensuring satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership to develop and implement sales strategies and quotas.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and monitoring expenditures.
  • Brand Representation: Act as the company’s ambassador at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, enhancing brand visibility.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities for personal and team development, staying up to date with industry advancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of proven sales experience within the oil and gas sector, with a strong focus on wellhead solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Existing relationships with Oil and Gas operators and/or Oilfield Services (OFS) companies highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong sales acumen with a track record of successful negotiations.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar software.
