We are seeking an energetic, organized, and well communicated technical account manager to join our team. This position will have upward momentum to become our virtual CIO in the future, as long as you can master the technical account manager role first.

We do not expect you to know everything, but as long as you have determination you will excel at this role. We will hand hold you at the beginning and you will always have an amazing team to collaborate when needed.

Specific job duties include:

  • Become the trusted technical and strategy advisor for our managed customers.
  • Build relationships with customers and the primary decision makers, ensuring the customer is happy with our service being delivered.
  • Taking vendor provided training around our core business offerings.
  • Completing technical business reviews (TBR's) with your customer portfolio on a recurring base, recording notes, documenting next steps, and keeping customers happy.
  • Work with our technical team to build proposals that help our customers achieve success.
  • Running reports to identify cross-sell opportunity, identifying older computer hardware that needs upgraded, and learning where customers can improve.

What success looks like:

  • Properly tracking all your work in our customer relationship system.
  • Completing all customer meetings on time, with notes properly documented, and any next steps sent to the appropriate parties.
  • You become certified in our top vendors as are known as a product expert.
  • Becoming a partner our customers love and trust.

Preferred experience:

  • Proven experience as technical account manager; or a good communicator with a technical background currently working an IT related job.
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Experience managing tasks, projects, and taking organized chaos into manageable tasks.
  • Past experience that required getting in video calls, conference calls, and meeting customers onsite when required.
