Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the technical strategy for the Systems and Mission Analysis Department, focusing on analytical and quantitative Systems Engineering and Mission Engineering.
  • Model complex systems architectures using standards-based languages and evaluate alternative architectures using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Articulate major uncertainties associated with systems architectures and define risks and opportunities associated with those uncertainties.
  • Translate analysis results into actionable recommendations for US Government agencies.
  • Develop new business opportunities through outreach to program divisions and develop and execute department technical and business goals.
  • Ensure technical quality of deliverables and lead the hiring and onboarding process for new staff.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to staff, providing informed, concrete, and productive feedback on their performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of technical leadership experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance for consideration.
  • Demonstrated experience in staff development and documented success in designing and developing Digital Engineering solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business development and networking within MITRE.
  • Deep technical skills in systems architecture modeling, trade space analysis, systems design and development, multidisciplinary modeling and simulation, and data analysis.
  • Experience with AI4SE and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years' experience developing MBSE and DE solutions.
