Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and coordinate workflow, train, motivate, and evaluate the performance of employees; Counsel, record, and discipline as necessary
  • Oversee the movement of material to proper locations in an efficient, effective, and safe manner
  • Ability and experience effectively leading teams to achieve goals and development
  • Consistently and effectively learn new and existing products
  • Ensure all procedures comply with safety procedures
  • Monitor warehouse performance for accuracy of locator, movement, and storage of material
  • Actively maintain a neat, clean, organized work-station and department
  • Comfortably work with tools, repair equipment, and cleaning chemicals
  • Meet and Exceed established productivity goals
  • Positively assist Manager in achieving production strategies for the company
  • Actively carry out and follow-up on additional tasks assigned by Management

Working Relationships:

Effectively Build, Grow and Maintain positive, professional internal and external relationships, which align with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines, principles, and core values. Proactively establish and maintain positive & effective working relationships with all team members and support department personnel.

Experience:

1 - 3 years in warehousing, materials management in a distribution center environment

1 year of supervisory and leadership experience / High School Diploma / College Degree (Preferred)

  • Work in distribution center/warehouse environment, the position involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 – 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs
  • Work in distribution center/warehouse environment, using stair ladders up to 15 feet tall
