The Warehouse associate position is responsible for a variety of tasks and operations in the assembly and packing of orders of safety products. The individual is expected to be efficient and capable of meeting required expectations by the employer.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Provide support for operations by assembling items, picking and packing orders, processing shipments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fill customer orders, prep inventory for customer specific markings/shipping labels, record location pulled from, lot or serial numbers, pack boxes, seal boxes and mark accordingly with shipment number for processing in shipping software.
  • Effectively communicate material shortages and assist with maintaining proper stock levels.
  • Perform physical inventory cycle counts accurately as needed.
  • Demonstrate safe work behaviors in all assigned tasks and encourages other associates to do the same.
  • Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in the correct location, etc.)
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklift & pallet jacks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to collaborate with fellow team members.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and demonstrate the proven capacity to adapt rapidly to changing priorities, while simultaneously maintaining the diligence to complete critical tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Manufacture products within expected times ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Ability to use and safely operate machinery and hand tools.
  • Willingness and ability to continually improve and learn
  • HS Diploma/Equivalent Required; must be eighteen years of age
  • Associate Degree Preferred
  • Basic Computer Skills Required
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • No travel required
  • A valid ID, legally able to work in the US and reliable transportation

POSITION IMPACT:

Ensure all customer orders are shipped timely and correctly.
