Office Assistant

Job Description:
General responsibilities:
1. Process incoming paperwork, make photocopies, and file paperwork.
2. Sort mail and distribute it to the appropriate places.
3. Answer incoming calls and direct them.
4. Provide general administrative support to the manager.
Security responsibilities:
1. Monitor the gate to prevent unauthorized access.
2. Conduct periodic foot patrols in all areas to identify suspicious activities or individuals.
3. Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents such as fires, thefts, vandalism, or other security breaches.
4. Document and report all security incidents, observations, and unusual occurrences to the designated authority.
Maintenance responsibilities:
1. Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks, and ensuring the proper functioning of office equipment.
2. Regularly inspect office areas and equipment for potential issues and report any necessary repairs or safety hazards to the manager.
3. Assist in coordinating maintenance and repair work with external service providers and vendors when necessary.
4. Be available to assist with or coordinate emergency repairs as needed to minimize disruption to office operations.
Qualifications:
1. College degree or equivalent; High school diploma acceptable with proved experiences; Additional qualifications in office administration, security training, or maintenance are a plus.
2. Proven experience in office assistance, security, maintenance, or a similar role.
3. Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
4. Willingness to work overnight and weekends.
