Audio Visual Superintendent
Direct Hire Opportunity

About Us: Join our team at a leading provider of cutting-edge A/V audio-visual solutions, delivering exceptional AV experiences for a diverse client base.
Position Summary: The Audio Visual Superintendent oversees the installation, maintenance, and operation of AV systems across multiple projects. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise AV installations from start to finish.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines, scope, and budget.
  • Install, configure, and test AV equipment (sound systems, video displays, control systems).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Stay updated on AV technology trends.
  • Manage and mentor AV technicians.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Serve as the main contact for clients.
  • Conduct site visits to understand client needs and offer recommendations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Enforce quality standards for AV systems.
  • Regularly inspect and test AV equipment.
  • Document project progress and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in AV installation, maintenance, and management.
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems and technologies.
  • Proven project management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • CTS certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift and move AV equipment and tools.
