Audio-Visual Installation Specialist

The Audio-Visual Installation Specialist will oversee the comprehensive installation of premium residential electronic systems and automation solutions at client locations. This role encompasses the installation, configuration, testing, programming (preferred, but training is available for suitable candidates), and maintenance of these systems. The specialist will also be responsible for running, terminating, and testing low-voltage wiring in both new and renovation projects. Direct reporting will be to the Project Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Expertise in the installation of electronic systems and automation solutions, including media rooms and effective wire management of A/V racks.
- Experience with Savant, Lutron, and other control system programming and networking is highly advantageous.
- Installation and mounting of televisions, projectors, and projection screens.
- Installation of in-ceiling and in-wall architectural speakers and touch screens.
- Ability to work safely at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
- Low-voltage pre-wiring for new construction and retrofitting existing homes.
- Familiarity with low-voltage cabling and termination standards.
- Ability to interpret plans and wiring diagrams.
- Understanding of signal flow and possessing troubleshooting capabilities.
- Knowledge of 70V and commercial systems is a plus.
Additional Qualifications:
- A strong desire to learn and contribute as part of a dynamic team is essential.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer service focus and a strong work ethic.
- A clean driving record, successful background check, and drug screening are required.
- Candidates must have reliable transportation and basic tools for low-voltage work.
