IT Support Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. This intermediate-level role involves providing on-site support, training for the first two weeks, and transitioning to part-time work with backup coverage as needed. Your time on-site will vary, typically requiring a few days per month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair a variety of technology-based products, including PCs, desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers.
  • Provide technical support to VIP clients and ensure high service standards.
  • Respond to change management requests, including installing new PC equipment and delivering desk-side support.
  • Perform Install/Move/Add/Change (IMAC) activities efficiently.
  • Deliver excellent desk-side support while maintaining professionalism and strong technical skills.
  • Meet established customer service satisfaction levels and operational metrics.
  • Proactively communicate with end-users and service desk personnel regarding job status and timelines.
  • Adhere to documented service operations policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in IT support or a related role.
  • Education: Technical school certification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to lift and/or move computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Additional Information

  • This position requires on-site work for the first two weeks, with part-time on-site backup coverage thereafter.
  • Certifications or additional training may be required based on client needs.
