Job Summary:

The Director of Finance will be responsible for the financial health of the company, overseeing all financial activities, HR, Office management, accounting, planning, and strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial management, analysis, and reporting, who can multitask and ensure the company’s financial operations are efficient and profitable.

Key Responsibilities:

                •             Financial Reporting and Accounting

                •             Conduct financial analysis, forecast

Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

                •             Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP or other relevant standards.

•             Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management and the board of directors.

 

 

•                    Cash Flow Management:

    • Manage cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
    • Monitor and manage company’s debt and capital structure.

•                    Risk Management:

    • Identify and mitigate financial risks to the company.
    • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
    • Implement internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets.

•                    Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage the annual budget in coordination with department heads.
    • Monitor budget performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.

•                    Financial Operations:

    • Supervise existing staff of three office workers and build team
    • Oversee financial operations and ensure the efficient functioning of finance department.
    • Implement and manage financial systems and software.
    • Develop and mentor finance team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.

•                    Strategic Partnerships:

    • Work with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.

Qualifications:

 

•             Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred or a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a senior financial leadership role.

                •             Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.

                •             Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

                •             Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

                •             Proficient in  Quick Books Online financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

                •             Strong leadership and team management skills.

                •             Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

                •             Experience in the moving and storage or logistics industry is a plus.
