We are seeking a highly motivated Liquor Store Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Position Overview:

The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in retail management and a deep understanding of the liquor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Operations: Manage daily store operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Maintain store appearance, manage inventory levels, and ensure compliance with all local and state regulations.

  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise store employees. Schedule shifts, handle employee performance issues, and create a positive work environment that encourages team collaboration and high performance.

  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by assisting with product selection, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving any issues. Implement customer-focused initiatives to enhance the shopping experience.

  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including ordering and restocking products. Conduct regular inventory audits and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure product availability and quality.

  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve store goals. Organize in-store events, promotions, and tastings to attract and retain customers.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal alcohol regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance requirements and ensure all staff are trained in responsible alcohol service.

  • Financial Management: Monitor store performance, manage budgets, and oversee financial transactions. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a retail environment, preferably within the liquor or beverage industry.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.

  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient in inventory management and point-of-sale systems.

  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of alcoholic beverages and industry trends. Familiarity with local and state alcohol laws and regulations.
