We are seeking a Sales Development Rep to join our team CMIT is the leading IT services provider across the US for the SMB market; we help our clients secure and maintain their technology infrastructure and end users, wherever they are.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated with a proven track record in IT, SaaS, Networking and Cybersecurity. Candidate will conduct outbound sales, set appointments, find and join B2B business groups, and assist marketing efforts as needed. 

Responsibilities:​​​​​

  • Identify potential clients and decision-makers in target markets
  • Initiate engaging conversations via cold calls, emails, and social media
  • Book appointments for our Sales Team and provide relevant information
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Speak confidently about CMIT solutions and offerings
  • Build relationships with prospects, partners (existing and new), colleagues, and teammates
  • Maintain a positive attitude and bring energy to the team

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of SDR experience in SaaS or tech services
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and strong communication skills
  • Strong sales skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and social media is a plus
  • Ability to perform research and find qualified leads
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Highly organized, hard-working individuals with a voracious appetite for learning and improvement
  • Confidence and hunger to pick up the phone and make 50+ dials/connections a day to generate interest
  • Impeccable communication skills, with determination and focus to drive lead generation and strategic outreach
  • The desire to work with and learn from leadership as we close new business
  • Begin meeting or exceeding expectations within 30 days of onboarding
