POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for preparing service shipments for all customers. This includes gathering the necessary packaging materials/parts and then packaging them according to customer requirements and presenting the completed load to staging area.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Employees will be trained to all applicable company standards as identified on the company training matrix TR-401

  1. Responsible for picking, packaging, and staging all Customer Service requirements
  2. Must be able to manage time efficiently and work with production to support customer service requirements with on time shipping.
  3. Responsible for coordinating with the New Model Team on service packaging for all new products.
  4. This person will be a member of the Production Requirements Planning group
  1. Organization and cleanliness of the corrugated packaging materials area.
  1. Stage, label and ensure quality check of all assigned service shipments in an accurate and neat manner.
  2. Comply with all quality requirements concerning shipments.
  3. Maintain the service supplies and designated service prep area in a neat and orderly condition at all times.
  4. Communicate with Customer regarding the service requirements.
  5. Maintain storage areas outside.
  6. Always observe safe work practices.
  7. Other duties as assigned by the Shipping Customer Service Manager

SPECIFICATIONS:

Competency

  1. Must pass forklift training and obtain a forklift operating license- Inhouse certification will be provided.
  2. 1 year experience working in a shipping/ warehouse setting desired but not required.
  3. Office 365 experience desired but not required.
